Departure: 6 am from Adelaide.
We had a nice group of 22 people (12 germans(lol), 4 americans, 2 brits, 2 brazils, a czech girl and an italian guy). Our tour guide was a 28 yo girl from Alive Springs, called Kate.
Firstly there is to say that the weather was unbelievable good, because it was not too hot, but always sunny without any clouds, perfect conditions for an outback tour. And secondly, Kate was the best thing that could happen to us, as you will read. It was her last tour before her holidays (4 months in south east asia!!!)
The first two days of our tour we stayed in Quorn, a nice little town in the Flinders Ranges which is a green hilly pasture land. We did 2 nice walks to discover the flora and fauna of Flinders Ranges, saw a cave with aboriginal paintings and ruins of settlers, who tried to live inb this dry area in 1863. The meals wre always team work, on the first day we had a bbq wirh kangaroo, emu and camel meat (very good), and on the secaond day curry.
