So my first day in newwy (Newcastle) consisted of me watching Liam play football. To be honest I was rather happy about that. It's the thing I miss the most, no one seems to talk about it out here and the ones that do are clueless. Anyhow, watch him I did and they won, not a bad start to their season. I also met his mum and dad and was asked to sign up for his team. Didn't offer me enough money though. Also they are not very good. I was expecting something much better. Was like watching monkey tennis.
Now the reason I'm in newwy is because I was gonna get a job there and kinda set up home. Liam's sister Claire said her fella who is also named Liam had a room to rent. I was gonna stay there work and save money. Things changed?
I pretty much spent the whole week doing nothing, chilling out, sleeping and watching tv. Every now and then I was looking for a job.
Liam and Claire were both at uni pretty much all week so I had their house to myself. Just like everywhere Wednesday night is student night and after uni Claire brought 2 mates home. I forget their names they both had boyfriends so its not important anyway. Liam's other sister Erin was there too. Then Liam got home and he was going to a uni party at some bar. So night out it was. I went for a curry with the girls and Liam before he went to his party thing. Erin also went home, she had stuff to do. I went with the girls to Claire's mates house and we had a few drinks before leaving to town. A few got a taxi, me Claire and her mate whatever her name was got a lift from Claire's fella Liam. Went to a few pubs and a club thing few drinks same old shit, you know? The next I decided I really need something to do as I was getting so bored, so back online I went. Looking all over the net I stumbled across this website called HelpX. Basically you go to a house or farm or something along them lines, you work or help out for 4 hours a day and in return you get food and a bed.. I thought yeah not a bad idea so I joined up. Messaged a few different people and got loads of replies, cant blame these people though I'm fucking awesome. The first email I got back was from a couple in Boorowa which is in the middle if nowhere. I agreed to be with them for Monday, so I had 3 days to get sorted and over to Yass where they were gonna pick me up from the train station.
Friday night Liam had to go to Singleton so he left me at his place. Claire was working so me, her boyfriend Liam and his sister went out for pizza. My last night so I had to do something, we finished up met Claire and all of us went back to the house. They were all heading to Sydney on the Saturday so they said they would give me a lift. Liam had rugby near by so it was all good.
All in all Newcastle is an ok place to be honest it's very much like home. Everyone knows everyone and all the shit that comes along with that was floating around. Was good to see that kangaroo humping wallaby wanking aussie twat Liam again though and I will head back there for a few week during the summer when he is off uni and we can head out more.
