Chiang Mai Pt. II

21.June 2008 - CHIANG MAI

Chiang Mai, in the end was great.
I"m sorry I don't blog often -- the internet is really hard to come by in large quantities at the hostel.

The hostel I stayed at -- Spicy Thai Backpackers -- was literally a home away from home. People would just relax and watch HOUSE all day long. In the end the brits were normal and the house quieted down.
The city is great though. I would love to live in Chiang Mai -- a relaxed sleepy town with lots to buy and lots to do.

What happened here... I bought the sickest Hello Kitty Shirt -- with blingin' sequins for 100 baht! That's like $3.25 or something. CRAZY! Shopping is killer amazing here, I've already filled up my predetermined souvenir bag.

I went trekking and realized that inside my normal body size -- I am an obese woman. You'll see pictures when I get around to uploading them but within 10 minutes of trekking I was dripping (no jokes... dripping) with sweat and soaked to the bone. And needing to "take pictures" -- really an excuse for a break. And my guide was looking so fresh. No sweatyness and walking up a ridiculous hill with flip flops. That's where I met George Nozuka (of "Lie to Me" fame?)'s sister. She's gorgeous. Definitely the best looking out of her brothers (also Justin Nozuka -- indie singerish person). I wanted to get her to set me on a date with him but she was from Western. Yes, I do mean to stereotype.

Everything I write makes no sense. The heat has gotten to me.
I will now write about Ayutthaya.
