Ich sitze gerade im YHA in Adelaide und warte darauf, dass mein Taxi kommt. Ich koennte zwar auch mit einem Shuttlebus fuer nur 9 AUD zum Airport fahren, allerdings muesste ich ca 150 Meter zum Bus laufen. Bei den Temperaturen mit Gepaeck nicht wirklich witzig.

Gestern haben wir alle hier im Hostel Hauspost bekommen. Ich zitiere:

During the day please keep your window closed and curtains shut as much as possible - esecially if you are out for the day.

In these extreme temperatures avoid heat exhaustion by:

- staying out of direct sinlight
- wear light and loose clothes but cover up as much as you can
- wear a hat
- use sunscreen
- keep water with you and drink plenty of it

Soviel zu diesem Thema. Das sind keine gutgemeinte Ratschlaege, dass ist eher als Warnung zu verstehen. Die Rettungswagen hatten hier reichlich zu tun.

41.8 Grad war die offizielle Messung, wir hatten hier an unserem Thermometer allerdings 48 Grad.
