Still alright!

20.March 2010 - Perth

Hey mates,

It´s time to write again. I am currently residing with Peter´s cousin´s family in Roleystone close to Perth.
They have an awesome property and I have my own room includes bed, shelf as well as wifi etc.
Maxine makes nice breakfast, lunch and dinner for us every single day. I can´t say how much I do
appreciate this. I do my utmost to help them doing their household or I give Rudi a hand whenever
he needs one. It´s one of my best times I have in Australia and hopefully it doesn´t end soon.
But I know that I can´t stay here for ever so I started seeking jobs. Unfortunately I have just
one interview so far. Tomorrow I´ll go to Perth Central for my first interview as a fundraiser.
I have some more opportunities to work in cafes or restaurants but they haven´t confirmed any
appointment at this stage. If I get this job tomorrow I´ll work there until I find something else.
By the way I´ll let you know what I did last week. Rudi took me shooting at Maxine´s brother´s property
on the first saturday. Rudi´s son Brett and his friends own plenty of different
guns and rifles. I shot a .22 Magnun, different shotguns and a .243 calibre rifle. Shooting the shotgun was
the most fun. At the beginning I didn´t hit anything but after I got used to it and with a bit more
practise I was quite good. Even Rudi was proud of me xD.
During the days Rudi took me to his friends introducing me everywhere. I met his sister and his
good friend Bill as well as almost his whole neighbourhood. Another day he showed me Perth and
surroundings. Driving in his car around Perth was like a free sightseeingtour. He even invited me to
the popular aquarium of Perth. By the way he sold his 924 Porsche for 5000$,that car is almost 30 years
old but still in very good condition. I was crying and asked him to keep it for a while and sell it to me
for the same price instead of giving it to that "stupid asian boy" who bought it x).
Anyway it is a really nice car and a shame that it doesn´t belong to me! What else? Hmm I spend most of
my time at the beach yesterday. It was the first time since a eternity I enjoyed laying at the beach
and having a good dive in the sea. Usually it is warm and sunny over here but I haven´t had any chance
to do this in the last few weeks I´ve spend in Melbourne or Adelaide. It was either to cold and even
rainy or there was no nearby beach I could go to.
Yeah, that´s it so. I´ll inform you if there is a reason.

Cheers Manu
