Im not in North America anymore...

16.September 2008 - London, UK

7.5 hours later dave and i arrive in london. we landed at about 8:00 a.m. Luckily our bags carried all the way to sydney, so we didnt have to worry about claiming them. yet, it can be nerve racking because our bags were going so far and they were not in our control. they managed to lose my bag from Georgia to Ottawa, i didnt want to believe that it would make it all the way to sydney. all i could do was hope...

we had the entire day in London. we took the "underground" to the city from the airport. managed to see some points of interest. Buckingham Palace was not as impressive as i thought it would be though. we did however manage to see the changing of the guards. that was pretty cool. We went to the westminister church. that was purdy sweet. next to it was big ben. That stinkin' clock was HUGE. far bigger than ive always thought. very impressed. over all london was exciting. i feel like i did everything i wanted to do there. we fly back into london on our way home so if we decide to do anything else we will do it then. we get back to the airport and make our way for our long journey to sydney. 22 hours... here we come....
