hey, its been a long time that i wrote something for you guys! So here a little update how I ve been in Darwin for the last 11 days ;-)
I arrived Darwin at 4am in the morning and got picked up bye a friend. I´ve been very tired the first few days so I almost slept the hole time! It was a bit confusing the first time! I mean the cars are driving on the other side of the road and its very hot like summer but the sun goes down between 5 and 6 o´clock... while in germany the sun goes down at about 10 ^^ ... and it feels like that Darwin gets awake in nighttime! The streets are full with partypeople from mostly europe and australia! People are smiling laughing and relax :) ... the first time felt like beeing in a dream I had before, I knew everything but it didn´t feel real.
Now that I´ve been here for almost 2 weeks it feels real and its nice! I live together in a sharehouse with 2 german girls! I am a WWOOFER ... I just have a tourist visa thats why I cant work for money, so Anna a friend from germany gave me that offer to stay together with her and Chrissi. I do the housework and can stay here ;-)
Its nice to see so many people here, i´ve met half a year before!!! So many storys to tell and it s just nice to know not beeing alone!
I mean i miss my people from home, especially Lilli and Thilo my siblings and of course my granny and the rest of family and for sure my friends!!! I wish i could bring everyone over and I am pretty sure everybody would like it!
If you read this, you probably wanna know what I´ve done the last days. So I wanna look back and think what exiting storys I have to offer ;-)
First of all I must say I love the sea! The beach ... great amazing! I´ve been there only one time yet, on thursday, it was the mindilbeach-markets. A big market with different foodstores and little shops were you can buy sourveniers or t-shirts and stuff. The smell of the food was so strong that your sense would be overwelmed, a lot of people were there. I went with my neighbour mikel and his grilfriend, we watched the sunset together and enjoyed some lifeshows from musicians and magicians.
Another time I went shopping with Anna in Cassurina (a subburb of Darwin) ... and i need to say... "its soooo expensive right now!!!!!" the prices raised so much, since my last time here... crazy!!!
One time Anna and me went to the lagune to see a sandcastle competition, but it was a day before :( .. so we were to late ... so we decided to go to steve a friend of her, he was living right there. And Phillip another german friend of me came and we played soccer toghether, it was a lot of fun!!!
