After 1 h drive in the rain, we arrived in Taupo.We stopped at the i-site and asked for accomodation,they told us the way to a small friendly motel.
We went to a spa with hot tubs and a private pool for us.
In the evening we went out for clubbin at the x-base element bar.
We had a lot of fun there and at the end Sascha get kicked out by the Security(we don?t know why!).Max stayed there longer for some more drinks!That was the problem,firstly he couldn?t find the way home and secondly he ended up in the wrong room after he woke up the half of the motel.
On the next day we went to a kayak tour at lake Taupo.
We paddled to a old big Maori carving(see photos).The lake was really blue and clear.
In the night we went out with the guys from the kayak tour.
The bartender ordered Sascha to drink a glas of water before he could get another beer, the same as the night before.
