In Malaysia gibt es einen interessanten Mix aus Buddhismus, Hinduismus und dem Isam. In jeder Stadt gibt es Moscheen, goldene Tempel mit Buddhastatuen und knallbunte Hinduthempel. Diese tiefe Religiösität passt nicht wirklich zu der Hightech-Gesellschaft von Kuala Lumpur mit den riesigen Petronas-Towers und achtstöckigen Shopping Centres. Aber zum Glück gibt es nicht nur große Städte in Malaysia, sondern auch tolle Natur wie z.B. in den Cameron Highlands, wo ein ewiggrünes Meer aus Teepflanzen an den Hängen wächst.


In Malaysia you will find an interesting mix of buddhism, hinduism and islam. In every city are mosques, golden temples with big buddhas and colourful hindu-temples. On the one hand you have this deep tradition of religiosity, but on the other hand there is a big high-tech-society in Kuala Lumpur with the huge Petronas -Towers and mega malls.
But fortunately there is also great nature in Malaysia like the Cameron Highlands with endless fields of tea.
